The National Couples Survey asked married people if they've had anal intercourse in the past four weeks. Here are their responses by race/ethnicity:

The numbers are much higher for NAMs (non-Asian minorities). Would this be an indication of male dominance as well as of freakiness?

It takes 2 to tango, you know? Unless you are implying the higher NAM rate is a result of men raping their wives.
Im suprised at just how big the disparities are between the races really are, even on something like....this. Quite frankly, Im suprised that 'this' goes on that much. 30% is a high number for such a extreme practice.
I'm surprised that the Hispanics have the blacks so badly beaten, and that the Asians are behind (no pun intended) whites. This doesn't fit the usual Black-hispanic-white-asian ranking we see for just about anything.

I'm just guessing here, but from observing black female students in a mixed high school and how hard it is for them to compete to find a decent guy, I'd say that situation might make them more willing to do anything sexually in their competition for a mate. The number of incarcerated blacks, the paucity of bread-winning, ambitious black males with a future ahead of them, the relative reticence of males of other races to pursue black females as mates leave many black females feeling desperate.
As you know, many women use sex to hold onto a guy and so such females will engage in sexual practices that don't bring them any pleasure. Heck, women of all races do that. Not to be vulgar, but men don't really think women enjoy giving a bj, do they?
This might partially help to explain the higher rate of HIV among blacks. Easy transmission.
At one time I would have said "freakiness" but the number of people engaging in anal intercourse seems to be rising. Taboos fall by the wayside the more something is mentioned.
One day the subject came up among some close friends, male and female. Turns out I learned how common it was for our military stationed in the Far East to partake of a common practice in that part of the world when they visited prostitutes. I forget its name, but beads are inserted into the man's rectum and the prostitute moves them up and down, massaging the prostate. And, of course, from there I learned of all the sex toys that are sold to achieve the same thing.
Women may not have prostates, but it turns out the tissues around the anus are sexually sensitive and many women enjoy those toys.
I felt silly not knowing this. Personally, it grosses me out, but I could see a woman dealing with a sex toy a heck of a lot more than the male organ inserted there. Ouch. And, yes, gross.

I have always wondered about this because the discrepancy between blacks and whites with regards to this disease seemed much larger than the standard large gap seen with other STDs. My two theories had been
a. different physiology
b. whites were better adapted to it
I found neither convincing at all, but was at a loss. I'm pretty excited to see this. It is somewhat related to the explanation that "dry sex" in Africa which Steve Sailer has written has been conducive to AIDS.
A family member worked as nurse for male inmates for about a year. More often than not, their physicals stated that the rectum was deformed; it is permanent.
Another thing if it is true about anal intercourse and AIDS, then the guys who have been saying that it is nearly impossible to get it if you're heterosexual are correct.
When I began hearing this, and they would even do the math to show how astronomically hard it was for a heterosexual man to get it, the female Black AIDS rate was my stumbling block to accepting this.
These stats you present help me accept their theory that it is wholly a blood-borne disease and not a "true" STD.

AIDS and Heterosexual Sex by Robert E Gould, MD. Clinical professor of psychiatry at New York Medical College and a member of the Committee on AIDS of the American Psychiatric Association.
Contrary to popular belief AIDS is not spreading in the heterosexual community through ordinary sexual intercourse (penis/vaginal intercourse where there are no open lesions on the genitals). Based on my studies, I believe that the only way AIDS can be transmitted is by introducing a whopping dose of the virus directly into the bloodstream. The only way this can be done is through blood transfusions (basically safe now due to careful screening techniques), sharing of needles by users of intravenous drug, and anal intercourse (which often involves abrasians, bleeding and lacerations).
Many men who say they contracted the AIDS through sex with a prostitute aren’t telling the truth. They are bisexual married men who find it more palatable to blame something other than anal intercourse with another man. In the study where this common falsehood was discovered, one man did not admit his bisexuality until the fourth in-depth interview. Most HIV-positive men are not studied in such depth.
Women who say they contracted AIDS through heterosexual intercourse were not asked, in most cases, if the had engaged in anal intercourse. In the one study that did ask this question, 50% of the women admitted that they had. The number of may even be higher than that, because women who have been persuaded against their desire to have anal intercourse may feel embarrassed afterwards and deny the truth.
Similarly, a partner of an intravenous drug user who is persuaded to share a needle (this is psychologically important to an addict who will often say “Do it just once… If you love me”) and contracts AIDS will say she is not an IV drug user. She can believe this because didn’t do it regularly.
**Before this post, I thought only a tiny percentage of freaky people engaged in that activity; I admit I'm naive, but considering the staying power of hetero AIDS, I doubt I'm alone.

If skin color is darker it seems that men would look more macho or aggressive that it will be automatically connected to fooling around much category. Simply they can't hide, so when they have anal sex, they will find some justification of not having real sex. Within different regions and cultures there are varying attitudes and/ or tolerance towards certain sexual practices. Anal sex in particular is always given extremely negative connotations. Honestly, if you look at history, religion, culture, and sexuality as a bigger picture you could appreciate and understand it all much better. In America we have far too much leftover puritan crap. You guys are over thinking this. Ask yourself a couple very simple questions. Who likes booties? Black and latino guys. Who has big, juicy booties? Black and latino sisters.
