The only parents who fail to teach kids to not discriminate are black and Hispanic

According to this study of American youths of African, Arab, European, and Latino descent, Arab and white parents teach their children to not discriminate against members of other groups. Black and Hispanic parents, by contrast, do not.

I thought the real villains in America's racism melodrama were bad parents, but we'll have to rewrite that story since it's turns out that the guilty moms and dads are black and brown.

From the abstract, "European-Americans were less committed than were African Americans to improving race relations". What does this mean? Did you read the article?

Maybe single parents lack to the time to teach their children such life lessons. . . . Maybe.

"What does this mean?"

It means that African-Americans that are advocating for their ethnic group are simultaneously committed to improving race relations. Blacks want to bring their group up, into parity with whites. Whites aren't trying to tear their group down sufficiently to be on par with blacks.
