Liberals say tax evasion is no biggie: Conservatives are the government haters just looking for any chance to get around paying taxes, while liberals seek the collective good by looking for ways to pay extra, right? According to the GSS, 43.7% of extreme conservatives say it's seriously wrong to cheat on your taxes. For extreme liberals, it's a whopping 10.9%. But let me anticipate some of you: it's always conservatives who lie on surveys.

    What's an "extreme liberal", though? That sounds like it could be a libertarian, and obviously they're going to say that.

    I know it's stupid to stick libertarians on to liberals like that, but some folks just refuse to think outside the line, let alone the box, so it might well be that's what the original source meant.
