From Mao to Martin?

I like the sound of this:
Some recent surveys have calculated there could be as many as 100 million Chinese Protestants. That would mean that China has more Christians than Communist Party members, which now number 75 million.

i have the exact opposite reaction: disgust and disappointment. the last thing chinese need to be doing is spreading a middle eastern infection of the mind.

Didn't seem to hurt Europe.

This is a very interesting development.

A freer Chinese people will probably see some of the populace become attracted to various world religions for the same reasons people all over the world harbor various beliefs.

I think the United States will be better off if that religion is Christianity, and not Islam.

In multi-party states, each party would like to have as many members as possible. In one-party states, membership is a ticket to the upper class and hence is restricted.

Pzed: How do guys like you exist?

If the Chinese are going to take over the world, I want them to be innoculated with fundamental Western values. Historically, Christianity has been the agent, because nothing gets down into the bones of a people better than a religion.

apparently not everybody is like you. maybe i don't want chinese to hold fundamental western values as opposed to eastern ones.

as for taking over the world, has china attempted to impose its cultural values like the west does everywhere it goes? the chinese do business. they don't do imposition of cultural values. that's a western thing.
