MLK National Memorial

Is is just me, or does the MLK National Memorial statue--a symbol of modern-day liberalism--have an Oriental despot kind of feel to it?

Because it was designed by a PRC chink:,_Jr._National_Memorial

For the first time, this morning I saw the "animation" of this memorial.

    I was dumbstruck. It's creepy.

I wonder how the Chinese, whom we owe at least 900 billion to (and probably more since some funny third parties in Britan seem to be buying up T-bills that we can't account for), feel about paying for this?

It would be amusing to see a green-skinned-alien critique this nation. The blue people endlessly apologize to the grey people for things that happened 50 years ago, and then 150 years ago, endlessly, and erect monuments to grey people who gave a few (somewhat plagarized) speeches, and were always put on the blue people's television sets by other blue people. Information about the grey speechmaker's adultrey, plagarism, and other habits are censored by the blue people themselves, and the grey people dont want to hear them anyway. The grey people commit many, many more crimes against the blue people than vice-versa, and the grey people are given hiring and placement preferences in every area of life, yet the insistence that the "lead" grey speaker, made famous by the elites of the blue people, get etched in stone monuments many years after his death. He overshadows the people who actually founded, built, fought-for, and maintain the country.

I dont think the green people would be very impressed with us.

    For Ron,
About China. Someone wrote on CNN an old adage which hit me cold: There is an old saying, if the bank loans you a thousand dollars, they own you. If the bank owes you a million dollars, you own it.

I wonder if the Chinese contemplate this? I wouldnt lend us a cent if I were them.

  4. Sort of a combination of Mao Tse-tung and the Gates of Mordor.

And Mao has a very aggressive stance. No Ghandian non-violence here.

A very ugly implied message of oppression and violence.

The Inductivist admits that culture matters

A pure naturist would claim that the culture of East Asians would not change after moving to America. Let's test this with one question ...
